[Mirayafm] BREAKING NEWS: GoSS fails to announce decision in census date

After an all- day session, the Council of Ministers of the Government of
Southern Sudan has not yet announced its position on the proposed date for
the census.

The GoSS minister of Information and Broadcasting,
Gabriel Changson Chang, told Miraya FM that a decison has been
reached  but that some matters are still pending, He said a statement
will be issued tomorrow Wednesday.

The Sudanese Presidency on
Sunday proposed the new date of 22nd April following a GoSS announcement
on Saturday that the census originally scheduled to start on 15th April
had been postponed in Southern Sudan until later this year.
